This 1TB SSD, can do read at 540MB/s, write 520MB/s and 98,000 IOPS
I used to have these two in RAID0 configration to achieve 1.1GB/s read/write for my 10Gbps network vmware home lab, but the project has been abandoned.
There are retail for around $500, Near new, barely used. So get yourself a bargain. No holds.
