There is little difference these days. CA's tend to work in accounting firms while CPA's tend to work more in commerce (companies). Work experience needed is 3 years supervised or 5 years unsupervised while you complete 6 or so subjects. Go to CPA Australia or Charter Accountants websites for full details.

不同点：CPA 6门课，每门课只有最后考试来考核，平时不需要上课和测验，专业课是三门必修三门选修，锁开课程不全是会计类，有管理类和金融类等，覆盖面更广泛些。对于上班族且不喜欢作业的朋友，CPA绝对合适。
            CA   5门课，但每门比CPA贵300，所以最终所有花费比CPA还多，并且平时要上课2次和N次在线测验和一个作业，最终还有考试，平时成绩不过，最后考试考了也没用。CA课程多是会计类，比如审计，税法等，比大学里要求高，多研究些你八辈子不会碰到的CASE。

总的说在专业方面CA 比 CPA更专于会计些，对于找工作的区别不是很大，用人单位更看重你的工作经验，这些是锦上添花的东西。如果你还没有找到工作，建议还是先找工作。
