先简单介绍下澳大利亚的公司吧

手机公司:TELSTRA, OPTUS,3G,VODAFONE。四个是有他们自己的手机网络的。
还有其它n个小公司都是租用他们的网络。
这里2G手机是GSM和国内是通用的，3G手机是WCDMA的，850MHZ,900MHZ,还有2100MHZ，和中国联通的3G手机是通用的，只要支持上三个频率

上网：
ADSL －最常用， IPRIMUS, DODO, TPG等。。。比较便宜
CABLE － telstra, optus
DIAL UP -不用了，太慢
WIRELESS － dodo, telstra, 3g, optus等。。。
SATELLITE－telstra
这五种，看你住在哪里，怎么使用，然后选择一个合适的。

电视
ANALOG－会被取消有6个台
DIGITAL－有10几个台
foxtel－ 有几十个台
SATELLITE－单星和多星。大部分人看中文台

tpg比较便宜，而且有iptv,和ip的电话，非常核算，推荐
不好的是网络不稳定，而且很多地区都已经申请不上了，

还有要考虑的是你需要的是NAKED DSL,还是普通ADSL

如果你要申请ADSL，最好要在你住的地方待一年以上，因为合同一般都是一年的才有很多优惠
如果是短期的，或者你喜欢移动，随时上网，建议考虑WIRELESS。通过手机网络的
