JOB TITLE: NDIS Plan Manager (Bookkeeper)
Plan Manager: A Bookkeeper or an Accountant
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and caring people. People who are willing and able to work with clients who have disabilities and/or mental illness.
An NDIS Plan Manager is responsible for the following:
Receiving invoices:
o Directly from provider
o Via participant
Claiming from NDIS Portal
Paying Invoices
Providing a monthly statement to participant including:
o Summary of expenditure
o Breakdown of budget totals remaining
To be successful in this role one must have the following:
Bookkeeper (or Accountant) with Certificates or Qualifications
Experience Bookkeeper with good computer skills.
Preferably with knowledge about NDIS or NDIS Portal use.
Good numeracy skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously or without supervision.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to attract additional clients for the service.
Sales experience is beneficial.
DCSI Screening beneficial, if you don’t have one, must be willing to get one.
There’s an advantage if you have worked or lived or is living with a person with mental health issues or disability.
Must be able to organise and prioritise tasks.
