经严格审核,近日被澳大利亚联邦政府批准为注册培训机构(RTO No 40558), 有资格在澳洲所有州和领地提供以下课程:口译文凭(Diploma of Interpreting)和高级笔译文凭(Advanced Diploma of Translation)
MAIT (Macquarie Academy of Interpreting & Translating) is growing. We have been approved by Australian Government as a national VET regulator(NVR) registered training organisation (RTO). In preparation for our next stage of expansion, two positions are to be available:
Lecturer in Translation (English into Chinese)
Duties:
1.Translation teaching in the stream of Chinese (Mandarin)
2.Lesson planning, preparation of assessment materials,
marking and assessment, coordination and associated administrative responsibilities
Essential:
1. A master degree in Translation Studies or equivalent post-graduate qualification
2. NAATI accreditation at Professional Level (Level 3) in translation (Chinese and English)
3. Ability to work positively and cooperating with students, internal and external teams and agencies.
4.Proven professional experience as a professional translator
5.Proven experience in the teaching of translation or related subjects
6. Demonstrated capacity for the translation course developments and ability to develop curriculum
7.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40110 or willingness to attend training

Admissions & Student Support Officer
Duties:
1. Point of contact for program enquiries and administrative support for all aspects of admission processes;
2. Support commencing and continuing student enrolment activities each semester. Areas of student support include assistance with accommodation, medical, personal safety, student advice and where necessary the referring of students to a range of external specialist services;
3. Undertake student consultations regarding course program, subject or student status enquiries;
4. Maintain student records and archiving to satisfy the requirements of registration of a Registered Training Organisation;
5. Maintain enrollment recording and reporting database with AVETMISS standards to ensure data is up-to-date;
6. Assist with program marketing activities;
Essential:
1. Avocational qualification or relevant education/training and / or work related experience;
2. High level administrative skills including strong organisational skills and a proven capacity to coordinate workflows and meet deadlines;
3. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the capacity and confidence to present information to and deal positively with a diverse range of internal and external clients;
4. Demonstrated experience in providing excellent client service with well developed problem solving skills and ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment within policy, procedures and guidelines;
5. Well developed IT literacy and competency particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, student database (or similar); demonstrated ability to learn and utilise new systems and software in support of the role;
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and collegially within a team environment; manage multiple tasks concurrently and apply continuous improvement principles;
7. Current Workplace First Aid Certificate, or willingness to attend training.
Desirable:
1. Previous experience in an education administration environment in international education institution;
2. Understanding of or ability to learn relevant college procedures regarding relevant government policy (eg. ESOS Act).
